Bowdon R.U.F.C., founded in 1877, lies in North Cheshire, located on Clay Lane in Timperley , only a few minutes drive from Manchester International Airport and the arterial motorway network of the North West of England (M56, M60, M62).

Currently running 3 senior sides in structured league systems, with the 1st XV in South Lancashire and Cheshire 1, the 2nd and 3rd XV's in Miller Homes Leagues 4S and 5W, Bowdon R.U.F.C. welcomes players of all ages, abilities and nationalities.

The burgeoning mini, junior and colts section continues to grow at all age groups and the recently attained Community Rugby Seal of Approval is a testament to the commitment of Bowdon R.U.F.C.to rugby in the community and sport for all.

Historically renowned for its bon homie & traditional rugby welcome, today Bowdon R.U.F.C. continues to improve the facilities and coaching provided and offers its members, old and new, amateur sport at its best.
